Today's construction projects are highly complex and challenging from a number of perspectives. Whilst the provision of statutory services may not at first glance warrant dedicated attention, failure to do so can have disastrous consequences on costs and delivery timescales.

The issues faced in diverting, isolating, connecting and energising utilities are varied and wide-ranging with the "devil" always sitting in the detail. The sheer volume of activity in the sourcing, sequencing and coordinating of the associated activities means a highly proactive approach is required if risks, issues and solutions are to be identified and implemented in a timely manner.
